Hey guys,

Question: Would you guys be interested if I made a facebook page for new pieces, sketches, and stuff?  I wasn't considering it before, but it's been mentioned to me a couple of times recently.  What do you guys think?

Now to business, this is just a short update to say I'm still here haha.  I didn't even realize that it's been that long since I last came on dA, let alone update or post something new.  I've just been keeping busy with a lot of stuff, work, projects etc., that I can hopefully show you more of in the coming months.  Unfortunately, that also means not that much new stuff to post up for the time being.

I do have a short backlog of some stuff that I've been meaning to put up but haven't yet, so I'll be doing that.  And then there's tumblr and instagram for sketches, WIPs, etfc. (though admittedly those have been a bit slow as well haha, oops).

And that's about it.  Until next time, which is hopefully sooner than last time.

Keep in mind it'll be one more thing to update, keep up with, distraction, etc. A Facebook page isn't always as glamorous as people make it out to be. Between here, Instagram, and Tumblr there are enough sites for people to follow your work. Believe me when I tell you unless you're a bigger brand with a million fans the engagement is going to be low. Facebook is an Internet highway of an overwhelming amount of content. People get caught in scroll-lock. There's just so much to look at, breaking away from the scroll to Like or Share something happens very little unless it strikes people's emotional chords. Then things go viral. I see too many people and projects get caught up in Facebook and it just isn't worth the hassle. You pump all this energy and content out just to get 3 likes even though you have over 2,000 people liking the page. Isn't worth the hassle. Instagram and Tumblr are set up in such a way that celebrate likes and comments. Facebook is just a giant watercooler and only a few select get to sit in the middle. The rest are on their own to get the attentions of others.
